Oak Crest Scientists Among Featured Speakers at Life Science Technology Symposium
The Oak Crest Institute of Science is proud to be part of the Innovate Pasadena CONNECT Week running October 20-26. This weeklong event will include a series of independently organized seminars, workshops, and social events unfolding in venues across the city.
Highlights of the week will include the Emerging Life Science Technology in Pasadena symposium on Tuesday, October 21 from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center. Keynote speaker at the event will be Nobel laureate and serial entrepreneur Dr. Robert H. Grubbs.
Presenters will include Dr. Sherry Tsai, assistant faculty at Oak Crest and site director for the Greater Los Angeles Amgen Bioscience Experience, and Manjula Gunawardana, Senior Scientist at Oak Crest.
This event is designed to showcase the exciting biotech, medical device, science education and pharmaceutical research happening right here in the City of Roses
